BOE Decision on Outdoor School

I'm sharing some sad news that at tonight's BOE meeting, it was decided to not continue Outdoor School in the same format with the overnights any longer due to liability and risk concerns that could not be addressed. The BOE voted to accept the Superintendent's recommendation to convert Outdoor School to a day program with implementation in the 2027-2028 school year. They would take next year to plan so next year's 6th graders would plan to be the first class experiencing the day Outdoor School model when they're in 7th grade.
